Natural Geography
Richan Imperius is a very small colony, which is dominated by desert. It is about the size of Modern-Day Serbia, and is very flat and low-lying in the north, while mountainous in the south, and very dry all over. The mountains have thick, scrub-like vegetation and small, isolated forests while the lower-lying area is mostly urbanised, with many rivers to build ports on, which made Richan Imperius one of the major sea-based trading hubs on Catalania's West Claw Reigon in the days of sea-based ports. In some southern areas, there are lakes with steep cliffs and Fjords connected to them, but still very dry and mostly barren. The Plug Formation ends in Richan Imperius, which dominates the western and southern areas of the country. Until SkyFarm technology in 2017, a lot of crops were grown here, despite the climate and poor soils, thanks to irrigation technology. Even today, Richan Imperius is the bread-basket of the Vlakareki Desert.
History
Before Richan Imperius
Before the colony's creation, the area was mostly unpopulated. The first farmers and herders didn't arrive until 1793, when the first villages were built. The lack of significant human settlement in the area was mainly due to the poor soils, which was why most of the settlers lived near the Richana River, and only the herders braved the deserts beyond the rivers.
Creation of Richan Imperius
Richan Imperius was originally part of South-East Vlakarekia, and was separated from the nation in 2032. Richan Imperius was orignally very sparsely populated, with only villages dotted around and a small town near the coast, which is now part of the Richan Capital, Metropolis. Its creation was part of the Empire's Mellenium Projects, and was the first of a set of new artificial colonies to be built around the world. However, due to financial problems and the outbreak of the Inferno War in 2050, only Richan Imperius and Rivia were built.
The Inferno War
After The Inferno took over the Empire's main military research centre in Pantaniya, and later took the nation over, the Empire had to relocate their main centre of military research. They decided to move it to Mt. Tackyon (843m), Richan Imperius' highest mountain. The nation was relatively remote, which paid off eventually as the Inferno never launched an assault until 2065, near the end of the War. This was an all-out attack against the nation, and resulted in the longest and bloodiest battle since the famous Battle of Pontoon Pradesh. This Seige of Richan Imperius lasted for 4 1/2 days, and resulted in 400,000 deaths. However, thanks to help from Alein allies, The Inferno were finally forced back.
Repairing Richan Imperius
After the Seige of Richan Imperius in 2065, the city underwent a huge redevelopment plan. 60% of the nation's population was wiped out, and 90% of Metropolis' infrastructure was destroyed. To help revive the nation, mainly the capital, Pantanese Refugees were relocated to the capital, to provide them with new homes and a bigger workforce to repair the city. Today, the nation has been rebuilt to its original state, and continues to grow and prosper.
Government and Politics
Richan Imperius is ruled by a Governer-General, who oversees all colonial activities and reports to the House of High Lords. A colonial council represents the local people, and consists of the governers of all the counties of Richan Imperius. A new Governer-General is elected every 4 years, and Local Governers are elected every 2 years.

None of Richness City's settlements would class as a major city, but these are the only two large towns in the country.

In the 2105 census, the country's population was 843,678. About 75% of the population live in the northern part of the country, on the coasts, and most of these people live in either Metropolis or its commuter town, Queenstown. The rest of the population live in the more mountainous southern areas, in small rural communities.

Education
Richan Imperius has a very good education system, with very high Primary and Secondary education standards, and some very prestigious colleges, although most of these were in the Capital and have been destroyed. However these are being rebuilt in smaller towns while the Capital is being rebuilt.
Primary
Richan Imperius has very high standards in the primary education, with children starting when they're 4, and being in school for until they're eleven, and the best primary school in the country is the Northtown school in the Capital, the only one that survived the Inferno attack in 2065.
Grammar/Secondary
This country has the best secondary education standards on the Catalania West Claw. With students having the highest pass rate & the best attendance record on the West Claw. The Best Secondary schools in the country are Northtown, Kelsey, and Cat Valley. Richness City's best Grammar school is Kelsey Grammar Institute.
Higher Education
Richan Imperius has many universities, the biggest being the Capital University, which has been beautifully restored to its previous state. The Kelsey Park University is the best in the country, and during the War against The Inferno it was the centre of the Empire's Bionics Programme. Other insitutes for Higher Education include Northtown Technical College, New Alton Technical College, Springton Institute of Higher Learning, Kelsey School of Economics, and Kelsey School of History.
Arts
Richan Imperius has two Art Museums, Kelsey Museum of the Arts & Cat Valley Art Museum. Many artists hail from Richness City, such as Eton Ratslo, Rasca Frata, and Tom Slidc. The Northtown district in the Capital has many sculptures, all of a unique style, reflecting on the country's personal style of the Arts. The Kelsey Grand Opera House is very famous in the country and the surrouning nations, and has been hailed as a national landmark.
Music
Richan Imperius is not well-known for its music, but the country's most famous musicians include rock band Vertigoed, Pop singer Mike Today, and Rap artist K95.
Sports
Richan Imperius' favourite sports include Football, Basketball, and since the drophyds arrived, Blitzerball. Nowhere else on Alterra is this more popular, and the Capital has a newly built stadium dedicated for this new alein sport. Richan Imperius' largest all-purpose stadium is the Metropolis Arena, with seating for 60,000.
Leisure
Richan Imperius has many leisure facilities, with sports centers, sport feilds, playgrounds, and many other leisure centers. There are also small theme parks scattered about.
Lifestyle
Most people in Richan Imperius are wealthy businesspeople or work in the quarternary division, working at the many science centres that have made the country the technological capital of the Empire.
Economy
Richan Imperius' economy is very strong, and has a very science-based economy, with nearly all of Alterra's major companies having their main research centres in Richan Imperius, which provides the basis for the country's economy. However, its agricultural exports provide most of the income for the rural population.

Transport
Richan Imperius' transport system includes a main highway network and an extensive monorail system, providing quick and easy connections to the Capital and other towns. People from the south can get on one of Richness City's Reigonrunners and easily get to the coast, with express networks taking Richans non-stop to Camora, Capital of Vlakarekia, Richtown, Capital of the Republic of Benado, Benado City, Capital of Benado, as far as Delta City, Capital of the Emperor country Delta Valley. It has a major terminus in Queenstown, and a new one under construction in the Capital. From Queenstown Central Station you can go right to the southern tip of the Catalanian West Claw, or go north striaght up to Tiverno without changing trains. As well as an extensive rail line, The road network is specially designed to have a large-capacity road going through every settlement in order to provide quick access everywhere. Richness City as one of the most efficient transport systems in Catalania, with one of the lowest traffic jam rates in Alterra. The monorail network was constructed to provide fast cross-country transport and to relieve heavy traffic on the main highways.
Military
Richan Imperius, being a small country means that the army is not very big, and most of its military forces consists of ground forces, with 2,000 tanks active and ready for battle, and 45,000 total troops, with 3,000 other vehicles ready for combat. Richan Imperius has only ever been involved in one War, the Richness-Rivian War, which lasted for 10 years, from 2030 to 2040, with a decided Richan victory. ground forces played a big part in pushing back the Inferno forces in the Battle of Richan Imperius. Richan Imperius has a navy base in the Capital's Harbour, the only part of the Capital including Northtown that survived the invasion in 2065. Currently there are 13 Cruisers, 13 Destroyers, 5 Frigates, and 20 other ships active in Richan Imperius. The Air force is pretty small, but very advanced, and is constantly on patrol for airborne invaders. A large military base has been built on the top of Mt. Tackyon (843m), Richan Imperius' Highest Mountain, with missile silos loaded with missiles, and a testing site further down the mountain.
